What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade - The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
